Certified classic car glass — mobile across Utah & Las Vegas
Classic car glass is a different job from a modern windshield replacement, and it starts with a different question: does the part still exist? Modern vehicles have a catalog number and a warehouse full of glass behind it. A 1960s muscle car, a pre-war pickup, or a one-off restomod may have no production glass left anywhere — and what is still out there often doesn't match the profile, tint band, or thickness the car left the factory with. We start by identifying exactly what your vehicle needs, then tell you honestly which of three situations you're in: available reproduction glass, a hard-to-find original we source through specialty suppliers, or glass that has to be cut to a pattern.
That third path is where a lot of shops stop. Flat tempered glass can be custom cut to a template for door glass, quarter glass, vent windows and back glass on vehicles nobody manufactures parts for anymore — the same custom flat-glass approach we use on heavy equipment cabs, applied to a car that actually matters to someone. We can work from your original glass, a template you supply, or the opening itself. Curved windshields can't be cut from flat stock, so for those we go hunting through specialty and reproduction suppliers and give you a realistic answer on availability and timeline before you commit to anything or take the car apart.
The glass is only half of a classic installation. Original gaskets shrink, harden and crack over decades, and setting fresh glass into a tired seal is how restorations end up with water in the footwell and wind noise at 60 miles an hour. We source correct-profile rubber and replace the seals rather than fighting old ones back into place, and we handle chrome reveal moldings and stainless trim the way they need to be handled — slowly, with the right tools, without the bent clips and scratched brightwork that come from treating a '55 like a rental car.
Pace is the real difference. A modern urethane-set windshield is a predictable job on a predictable body. Classic bodies have settled, been repainted, and sometimes been repaired in ways nobody wrote down, and the pinchweld underneath can hide surprises. Our technicians plan for that instead of forcing a fit — and if we open something up and find rust or an old repair that needs attention before new glass goes in, we stop and tell you rather than sealing a problem up behind a brand-new windshield.
We work on hot rods, muscle cars, classic pickups, restomods, air-cooled imports and show cars across the Wasatch Front and the Las Vegas valley — two markets with a serious car scene and a genuinely hard climate for stored vehicles, since Utah's freeze-thaw cycles and Nevada's desert heat and UV are both brutal on aging seals and original glass. Whether your car is mid-restoration in a garage in Bountiful or under a cover in a Henderson storage unit, we can come to it or arrange in-shop work — whichever the car and the job actually call for.

FAQ
Classic Car Glass questions
That's common on pre-1970s vehicles, and it's often still solvable. Flat glass — door, quarter, vent and back glass — can be custom cut to a template from tempered stock, so a discontinued part number isn't the end of the conversation. Curved windshields can't be cut from flat glass, so those have to be sourced through specialty and reproduction suppliers. Either way, we'll tell you what's realistic up front rather than letting you find out after the car is apart.
